After graduating from Davidson College in 1983, he started the Office Division for Atlantic Properties (1984-1989), moved to the Office and Retail Division of The Crosland Group (1989-1994), and opened Office Properties in 1994. Since starting Office Properties, he has brokered over 800 office transactions with sales volume of over $260 million. He is a Past President of the Executives Association of Charlotte where he was awarded its highest honor, the Zeb Watkins Award. As a resident of Charlotte since 1972, he knows the Charlotte market and its history. He has a beloved wife and three children and he is actively involved in foreign missions, his church, and community.
